Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks an AI Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer (Java, React) to join our Doha, Qatar team in onsite mode. The role focuses on AI-assisted delivery, Spec-Driven Development governance, and agentic AI integration within enterprise platforms.

You will contribute to AI architectures, embed SDD templates, and develop guardrails for responsible AI, while delivering production-grade AI solutions using LLMs and embeddings in Java/Spring Boot services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Oracle/PLSQL, Kafka, and Git workflows.
• 1–2+ years in LLM-based solutions, RAG, or agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI architectures, ensuring pragmatic integration of RAG, agents, and automation into microservices and enterprise platforms.
• Embed Spec-Driven Development templates into delivery workflows.
• Build and maintain agentic AI use cases and implement guardrails for responsible AI adoption.
• Deliver production-grade AI integrations, including LLMs, retrieval, and embeddings within Java/Spring Boot services.
• Ensure observability, version management, and CI/CD readiness for prompts, models, and specs.
• Deploy and operate solutions on AKS and Azure environments with best practices for stability and security.
• Assist with KPI tracking related to AI-enabled delivery for adoption, quality, and risk management.
• Share knowledge through playbooks, training, and mentoring across engineering teams.
• Implement security, data handling controls, and responsible AI constraints in production environments.
