Job summary

Ooredoo Group in Doha, Qatar, seeks an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI models across the Group. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to implement AI solutions that generate revenue and improve efficiency, from personalized marketing to chatbots and network diagnostics.

You will build scalable pipelines, optimize models in production, and ensure integration with existing systems while staying current with AI and MLOps advances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI or machine learning engineering roles, including hands-on experience with developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Has telecom experience with some expertise in network planning, optimization, or operations
• Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure AI).
• Familiarity with data engineering processes and data pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models for customer retention, marketing, and automation.
• Prepare data with Data Engineers for model training and testing.
• Monitor and optimize models in production to sustain performance.
• Design scalable AI pipelines deployed across multiple OpCos.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Solution Architects for alignment.
• Identify and implement AI tools/frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
