Job summary

Commercial Bank Qatar is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI solutions and AI-enabled platforms within the Data & AI Lab. This role focuses on building scalable AI infrastructure, including integrations with MCP, cloud services, vector stores, and real-time data streaming capabilities to support banking operations and customer-facing applications.

Qualifications

4-6 years in software engineering with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML applications.
Hands-on cloud experience (Azure or GCP) and containerization (Docker, OpenShift/K8s).
Experience with document processing, metadata extraction, and knowledge management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and build Agentic AI solutions including autonomous workflows and multi-agent systems.
Develop AI platform components: vector stores, embeddings, and retrieval systems.
Implement data streaming architectures using Kafka for real-time AI applications.
Create RESTful APIs and integration patterns for internal banking systems.
Participate in Agile delivery processes, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
