Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a senior professional to coordinate and advise on Operational Excellence, optimizing fleets and cutting costs. The role involves planning and coordinating reviews of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and guiding performance enhancement initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a decade of operational planning experience and strong stakeholder influence. Candidates should have global exposure, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Operational Planning with strong understanding of its unique challenges and solutions.
• Experience working in multiple sectors and comfortable working in a multinational team.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are crucial for influencing high-level stakeholders.
• Analytical, creative/innovative problem solving, crisis management and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority.
• Resilient under pressure (both internal and external).
• Strong ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues.

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Responsible for coordinating and advising on Operational Excellence, utilizing resources efficiently, fleet optimization and cost saving initiatives.

Responsible for planning and coordinating reviews of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports and advise on the performance enhancement initiatives.

This is a high-stakes, high-impact, challenging position for a highly motivated, resilient and self-driven individual that must stay updated with current industry trends, technological advancement and changes in market conditions.

Handling sensitive information with discretion is crucial.

Should be capable of acting as conflict mediator between various departments or stakeholders and have strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Educational Qualifications

B.Sc. / Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Marine Degree or Equivalent. An advanced degree e.g. MBA, Master’s or Ph. D. is desirable.
