Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of strategic initiatives through project-based work.
• Understand organization strategy, track KPIs, and conduct data analysis to recommend impactful initiatives.
• Assess new opportunities and develop business cases for cost savings, revenue growth, and integration.
• Develop and implement project management approaches for governance and administration.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure effective communications and feedback.
• Track, monitor and report program measures and budget status weekly/monthly.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and participate in planning meetings.
• Support development of program charters and plans with scope and accountability.
• Collaborate with Qatar Foundation shared services and contracted teams for program delivery.
• Implement policies, guidelines and standards for programs and initiatives.
• Maintain quality management documentation for performance evaluations.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Result Areas:

• Facilitate the delivery of strategic initiatives through project-based work.
• Understand the organization strategy, track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct in depth data analysis (trend analysis etc.) to identify and recommend strategic initiatives with maximum impact.
• Conduct new opportunity assessment, evaluation, and development of business cases for programs or initiatives targeting cost savings, revenue augmentation, and integration within assets, streamlining of delivery models, and implementing synergies in offerings, etc.
• Develop and implement a project management approach to enable the efficient governance and administration of strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement an effective approach to project management that involves all necessary stakeholders and provides effective communications and feedback processes.
• Develop, track, monitor and report measures and performance of assigned programs in weekly/monthly basis on programs status and budget status; evaluate all initiatives and programs from technical and financial aspects.
• Carry out other similar or related duties such as prepare a variety of ad-hoc reports, attend various planning and other meetings, answer queries on progress of programs.
• Support development of project charters and plans of programs and initiatives, on scope, performance expectations, integration, accountability, and overall strategic and business planning.
• Work in collaboration with the Qatar Foundation shared services teams (communication, HR, finance, IT, procurement etc.) and contracted teams for the successful implementation of programs.
• Implement policies, guidelines and standards associated with programs and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain quality management processes and documentation for performance evaluation processes.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field & 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience
• Practical experience in project management, and quantitative and qualitative research/evaluation
• Strong understanding of conceptual frameworks of corporate performance
• Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information
• Administration and management skills with knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, performance management and coordination of people and resources
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to draft / edit a variety of written reports and communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
