We are in search of a skilled Welder to join our team in Almada The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of metal and welding techniques as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings The Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds according to specifications while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean work area

Key Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment such as MIG TIG or ARC welders
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning and grinding
• Position and secure metal pieces for welding
• Perform quality checks on completed welds
• Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• Proficient in various types of welding techniques MIG TIG ARC
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with different types of metal and their properties
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Prior experience with troubleshooting equipment is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification in welding from a recognized institution preferred
