We are in need of a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker for our company in Braga. As a Warehouse Worker you will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Your main duties will include loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of contents.
• Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards.
• Organize inventory to ensure efficient storage and easy accessibility.
• Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
• Prepare orders for shipment by pulling items from shelves according to pick ticket instructions.
• Wrap orders securely for shipping ensuring items are not damaged during transport.
• Load shipments onto trucks or vans using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, dusting and disposing of trash regularly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English is preferred but not required.
