Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is expanding its Threat Detection function and seeks a Detection Content Specialist to translate threats into structured engineering requirements and guide detection development. You will work across Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering and Security Operations to maintain a threat-led content backlog and high-quality telemetry standards.

Qualificações

• Experience developing or managing detection use cases in an enterprise security environment.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and threat-informed defense principles.
• Experience translating threat scenarios into structured engineering requirements.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the Detection Use Case Catalogue.
• Translate approved threat scenarios into actionable detection requirements.
• Maintain mappings between threats, ATT&CK techniques, telemetry requirements and detection use cases.
• Define telemetry requirements for new detection use cases and identify data gaps.
• Maintain the Detection Catalogue with metadata, ownership, status and docs.
• Prioritize detection engineering work with leadership and engineers.
• Identify gaps in detection coverage and maintain the Detection Gap Register.
• Work with Detection Engineers to ensure detections align with use cases and standards.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence and CSIRT to incorporate emergent threats into backlog.
• Support production of detection coverage metrics and reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of detection standards and processes.
