Axians Portugal is seeking a Test Leader with experience in software testing to guide test teams in Agile environments. You will design test strategies, coordinate activities, and ensure quality standards across projects, from planning to final validation.

You will manage defects, report progress to stakeholders, and promote testing best practices. Fluency in French is required, and travel outside Portugal may be necessary to support delivery and align with international projects.

Qualificações

• Degree in Informatics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Solid understanding of ISTQB principles and vocabulary.
• Experience in test strategy definition and test execution management.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Fluency in French.
• Availability to travel outside Portugal when required.

TEST LEADER (ENGLISH & FRENCH)

We are looking for a Test Leader with experience in software testing, capable of leading test teams, working in Agile environments, and ensuring the successful execution of testing processes from planning through final validation. You will be responsible for designing test strategies, coordinating testing activities, ensuring quality standards, managing stakeholders, and supporting project delivery through effective test planning, execution, reporting, and defect management.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Contribute to the definition of test strategies, master test plans, and testing schedules.
• Design, execute, and supervise testing activities while ensuring alignment with project requirements and deliverables.
• Coordinate and support test analysts throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Monitor test execution, manage risks, and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.
• Manage defects, support anomaly resolution, and participate in validation activities.
• Produce and communicate testing reports, including progress updates and Go/No Go recommendations.
• Ensure testing deliverables are produced, validated, and communicated according to established standards.
• Prioritize testing activities and support continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Manage testing committees focused on progress tracking and defect management.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and testing best practices within the organization.

Your Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to build test strategies, test plans, and testing schedules.
• Experience managing and coordinating software testers.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project delivery environments.
• Experience with Octane, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of API testing.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Risk identification, assessment, and follow-up.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Your Main Qualifications

• Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing activities.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and ISTQB principles and vocabulary.
• Experience in test strategy definition and test execution management.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience in insurance or banking application testing is considered a plus.
• Fluency in French.
• Availability to travel outside Portugal when required.
