GBT Solutions, Porto-based tech company, is seeking a Talend ETL Developer to design and optimize ETL/ELT workflows. The role focuses on data integration, migration, and transformation across databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.

You will translate business requirements into robust integration solutions, ensure data quality, and collaborate with business analysts and data architects. Hybrid work model applies, with one day in the office weekly.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of ETL development or data integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Talend DI/Talend Cloud and SQL.
• Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON, and cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement Talend ETL/ELT workflows for data integration and migration.
• Build scalable data pipelines across databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
• Translate business requirements into robust integration solutions with analysts and data architects.
• Implement data validation, quality checks, error handling, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation for ETL mappings, workflows and data processes.

Talend ETL Developer

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and optimize Talend ETL/ELT workflows for data integration, migration, and transformation.
• Build scalable data pipelines across databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and different data formats.
• Translate business requirements into robust integration solutions in collaboration with business analysts and data architects.
• Implement data validation, quality checks, error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable performance.
• Maintain technical documentation covering ETL mappings, workflows, data processes, and operational procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or data engineering, including 2+ years with Talend.
• Strong knowledge of Talend DI/Talend Cloud, SQL, relational databases, data warehousing, and data modelling concepts.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, flat files, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Bash, ETL best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies; ERP or industry data experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
