act digital is seeking a Network/Security Engineer to manage and evolve our network infrastructure across Europe from Porto. You will ensure provisioning, configuration and maintenance of network and security solutions, while contributing to architecture decisions and design documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in related fields, Fortinet expertise, CCNP/JNCIP or CCNA as a plus, and willingness to travel. Strong English and ITIL-style change processes are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Network/Security Engineering.
• Strong experience in Network & Security, with emphasis on Fortinet.
• Advanced knowledge of Firewall technologies, Fortinet and Check Point.
• Juniper JNCIP or Cisco CCNP certification; CCNA may be considered.
• Strong Routing & Switching knowledge in Cisco/Juniper environments.
• Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure.
• Experience with network trace analysis in critical environments.
• Knowledge of SWIFT and FIX trading networks is a plus.
• Experience with ITIL / Change Management processes.
• Fluent English; willing to travel across several European countries.
• Strong security-oriented mindset and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage maintenance, operation and evolution of network and security infrastructure.
• Provision configuration and maintenance of Network & Security solutions across the infrastructure.
• Participate in infrastructure and business projects, contributing to the definition of the most efficient network architecture.
• Lead the maintenance and evolution of network solutions, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
• Produce detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and coordinate its implementation with relevant technical teams.
• Manage third-party suppliers and partners, ensuring operational effectiveness and contributing to technical and design decisions.
• Coordinate technical governance with network/security vendors, hardware vendors and network service providers.
• Ensure compliance with governance, operational and change management processes.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in complex and business-critical network environments.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, directly or through external partners.
• Ensure the availability, security, redundancy and performance of network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multiple technical teams on the implementation, migration and maintenance of network and security solutions.
