Qualificações

• Experiência em desenvolvimento de software em C++ moderno, com foco em sistemas embarcados.
• Conhecimento sólido de princípios de engenharia de software, SOLID, RAII, padrões de design e Clean Code.
• Boa compreensão de sistemas embarcados, gestão de memória, multithreading e otimização de desempenho.

Responsabilidades

• Projetar, desenvolver e manter software C++ de alta qualidade para ocupant monitoring e aplicações automotivas.
• Integrar modelos de Deep Learning em software embarcado, otimizando desempenho e consumo de recursos.
• Colaborar com engenheiros de AI/ML para implementação de modelos em software embarcado.
• Analisar e otimizar interações entre hardware, software embarcado, algoritmos de IA e arquiteturas de sistemas.
• Participar de revisões de código, depuração e melhoria contínua, contribuindo para soluções de percepção automotiva.

As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the development of next-generation Occupant Monitoring Systems and other AI-driven automotive solutions, working at the intersection of Embedded Software and Machine Learning. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transform AI models into efficient, reliable, and production-ready embedded software, helping bring innovative perception technologies to vehicles worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ software for Occupant Monitoring Systems and other AI-powered automotive applications. Develop software components that consume, process, and interpret outputs from Deep Learning and Machine Learning models. Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers to integrate AI models into embedded software solutions. Understand and optimize the interaction between hardware, embedded software, AI algorithms, and system architectures.

Optimize software performance, memory usage, and execution efficiency on embedded automotive platforms (e.G., Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and similar SoCs). Support the deployment, integration, and validation of AI models in embedded environments. Develop software following modern software engineering practices, ensuring maintainability, scalability, testability, and high code quality. Participate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement activities. Contribute to innovative AI-enabled perception solutions for next-generation automotive systems.

What distinguishes you:

Education

Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience / Know-how Mandatory Skills Experience developing software in modern C++, preferably for embedded systems. Experience with software optimization, debugging, and performance analysis. Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including SOLID, RAII, design patterns, and Clean Code. Good understanding of embedded systems, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.

Experience with API/interface design and modular software architectures. Understanding of Deep Learning concepts, including neural networks, inference pipelines, tensors, and feature extraction. Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, TensorRT, PyTorch, or similar. Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including training, validation, optimization, and deployment. Ability to translate AI model behavior into efficient embedded software implementations.

Knowledge of software quality practices, including unit testing, static analysis, code reviews, and CI/CD. Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred

Skills

Experience working with AI/ML-based products or applications. Experience deploying AI models on embedded platforms such as Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, or similar. Knowledge of Occupant Monitoring Systems, computer vision, sensor fusion, or automotive perception functions. Familiarity with automotive development standards and processes, including ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Automotive Cybersecurity. Experience profiling and optimizing AI inference performance on resource-constrained embedded devices.
