Dremio is hiring exceptional Software engineers to join our team. You’ll work on core experiences on the Dremio stack, contributing to an autonomous data platform for analytics and AI.

You will design, develop and deploy features, collaborate with Open Source software and Apache Arrow projects, and help ensure the platform is scalable, available and resilient for customers worldwide.

Qualificações

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in Java, C++ or another modern language.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, multithreaded and asynchronous patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to software development cycle from inception to deployment.
• Review code and design, ensure high quality and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with program managers, architects, and customers on feature requests.

About The Role

Dremio is looking for exceptional Software engineers to join our team. You’ll be a part of a highly technical team building core experiences on the Dremio stack. Your contributions will help us deliver on our vision to build an autonomous data platform for analytics and AI.

What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute to the software development cycle from inception, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Actively working with Open Source software and contributing back, with focus on Apache Arrow projects.
• Actively participate in code and design reviews to maintain exceptional quality and deepen your understanding of the system architecture and implementation.
• Collaborate with Program managers, support, architects, etc on new feature requests and updates to existing design.
• Helping grow the team by participating in recruiting, mentoring and developing best practices
• Work with customers directly and client tools partners like BI tools (e.g. Tableau and PowerBI)

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or in a related technical field
• Fluency in Java, C++ or another modern language
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded and asynchronous patterns and their applications towards developing scalable systems
• Passion for quality, zero downtime upgrades, availability, resiliency, and uptime of the platform
• Experience developing scalable distributed systems and deploying, scaling, and managing microservices

Bonus Points

• JDBC, ODBC, ADBC or any other Database driver/protocol experience
• Apache Arrow
• Working knowledge of SQL language
• Hands-on experience with databases, distributed systems and highly available services
• Experience working on client side libraries/application
• Contributions to open source projects
