Critical Manufacturing is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Porto-Maia team. You will work on backend services primarily in C#/.NET, with frontend work using Node.js, TS or Angular, in a full-stack capacity for our MES platform.

The role emphasizes real-time control, data collection and automation within sophisticated manufacturing environments, with agile delivery and strong test coverage expectations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years in software development with backend focus.
• Strong OO programming in C#/.NET and Node.js.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will work full-stack with an emphasis on backend development in C#. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our MES platform through developing scalable, high-quality software supporting real-time control, data collection, and automation in complex manufacturing environments.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
• More than 4 years of experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably C#/.Net and Node.js)
• Good knowledge of frontend technologies (preferably TypeScript or Angular)
• Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and teamwork orientation
• Excellent English skills - spoken and written

What we consider a plus (not mandatory):

• Strong PostgreSQL or ClickHouse experience
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems, or Manufacturing processes
