A2IT Technology is seeking a SOC & Systems Analyst L2 with strong Security Operations background and hands-on Windows/Linux system administration expertise. The role includes rotating on-call shifts within a hybrid work model after an initial in-person onboarding.

You will monitor security events, triage incidents, correlate logs from SIEM and endpoints, and collaborate with ITSM tools. Prior SOC/NOC experience and cybersecurity training are highly valued.

Qualificações

• Experience in SOC, NOC, or security‑oriented support roles.
• Strong background in Windows and/or Linux system administration.
• Hands-on with system monitoring, troubleshooting and basic administration tasks.
• Familiarity with network, system and security event monitoring.
• Certifications or training in cybersecurity preferred.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a SOC & Systems Analyst L2 with a strong background in Security Operations and hands‑on knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration.

After an initial in-person onboarding period, the work model transitions to hybrid, with integration into a team with rotating on-call shifts.

• Continuous monitoring of security events and IT infrastructure;
• Analysis, triage, and investigation of security incidents (Level 2);
• Correlation of events and analysis of logs from different sources (SIEM, endpoints, network, etc.);
• Management and tracking of tickets in ITSM tools;
• Escalation of incidents to L3 teams when necessary;
• Support in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing corrective measures;

• Experience in SOC, NOC, or technical support roles with a security component;
• Good knowledge of System Administration, particularly Windows and/or Linux environments;
• Hands‑on experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic administration tasks;
• Knowledge of network, system, and security event monitoring;
• Experience with SIEM and/or EDR tools (e.g., ArcSight, FortiSIEM, Defender, Rapid7, etc.);
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow or similar);
• Knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and systems (Windows/Linux);
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Availability for on-call duty.
• Previous experience in L2 SOC environments;
• Background in IT System Administration or Infrastructure Support;
• Knowledge of security tools (firewalls, antivirus, threat intelligence);
• Certifications or training in cybersecurity.
