MapleGroves in Faro, Portugal seeks a skilled concrete worker to mix, pour and level concrete on construction sites. You will join a team to prepare sites, set up formwork and ensure proper curing.

The role is a contract position with accommodation and visa sponsorship; candidates need at least 2 years of concrete experience, strong knowledge of materials, and physical endurance to work long hours in varying weather conditions.

Qualificações

As a skilled concrete worker you will be responsible for tasks such as mixing pouring and leveling concrete on construction sites in the city of Faro. You will work with a team to prepare the site set up formwork and ensure that the concrete is properly cured. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will also be provided. To excel in this role you must have at least 2 years of experience working with concrete and possess strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials. You should also have physical strength and stamina to handle long hours of manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential for ensuring the quality and safety of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Mix pour and level concrete using hand tools or machinery
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning up debris and setting up formwork
• Follow blueprints or instructions from supervisors to ensure accurate measurements
• Ensure proper curing of concrete by monitoring temperature and humidity levels
• Use tools such as trowels screeds brushes and edgers to finish surfaces
• Repair damaged or cracked concrete structures using patching materials
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear protective gear at all times while on site

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent technical training in construction is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with concrete in a construction setting
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
• Familiarity with different types of cement aggregates admixtures and other materials used in concrete work
• Basic understanding of reading blueprints and following project specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team
