Jobgether, in partnership with a specialist security company, is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer (M/F/D) - Tools & Automation, based in Portugal or remote across Europe. You will build and maintain tools and automation for malware analysis and threat detection, owning projects from requirements through deployment.

The role uses Python, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and databases, with remote-first flexibility across Europe and potential site visits.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Experience designing REST APIs and server-side applications.
• Hands-on with test-driven development and Pytest.
• Experience with Ansible, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins/Bamboo).
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized/distributed environments.
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of tools, projects, and product components within Tools & Automation.
• Develop new software tools based on stakeholder requirements.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders when information is missing.
• Design, develop, and maintain server applications, microservices, APIs, and clients.
• Prioritize code quality, maintainability, testing, and reliability.
• Administer machines and infrastructure supporting development and automation.
• Ensure availability and stability of services on AWS.
• Work with CI/CD to enable reliable software delivery.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation with Ansible and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with engineers and infra to drive improvements.
