Elastic is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Capacity) to join its Platform Infrastructure team. The role involves managing and optimizing compute resources for Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless workloads, ensuring seamless scalability.

Responsibilities include assessing capacity requirements, developing accurate capacity models, implementing proactive strategies to prevent shortages, and optimizing resource usage across cloud environments. The candidate will analyze capacity metrics, operate an autoscaling framework, and collaborate with development teams to implement scaling best practices across over 60 regions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and capacity management, with knowledge of performance monitoring, cloud scaling challenges, incident investigation, and compute auto-scaling across major CSPs. A strong background in software and platform engineering is required, along with experience working with the three major cloud service providers.

The role offers a base salary ranging from €65,300 to €84,300 EUR, with compensation determined based on experience, skills, and role complexity.
