Willis Towers Watson (WTW) is seeking a senior quantitative analyst to join the Strategic Investment Modelling Solutions (SIMS) team in Lisbon. The role blends model development with client-facing activities as part of a major product and process transformation.

You will calibrate models, deliver client outputs, and contribute to research and implementation efforts, working in a hybrid setup. You will develop subject-matter expertise in economic modelling and asset‑class knowledge while

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
• Experience in quantitative modelling with exposure to stochastic economic modelling is advantageous, especially in insurance capital modelling frameworks.
• Strong programming ability in Python and C#, with willingness to further develop coding skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem solving abilities, able to communicate complex modelling results clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills, plus ability to work both independently and in hybrid teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop expertise in stochastic models underpinning our economic scenario generators.
• Assist calibration and automation of models and key processes.
• Build knowledge across asset classes used by clients and the corresponding modelling approaches.
• Prepare and deliver high‑quality client outputs and documentation.
• Support clients via queries, training sessions, and investigations, collaborating with team members and mentoring junior colleagues.
