SAP seeks a Senior Quality Automation Specialist for the Sovereign Cloud in Caparica, Portugal. You will design, develop and operate automated API and GUI tests to ensure quality across multi-tenant cloud environments and collaborate with product, security and operations teams.

You’ll own automated validation in CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, drive defect root-cause analysis and help uphold compliance and security standards in a highly scalable delivery model.

Qualificações

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated API/GUI tests with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• Build scalable automation frameworks using Page Object Model patterns.
• Manage test assets, requirements traceability, and execution reporting in Xray, Zephyr, HP QC.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Implement quality gates and automated validation in deployment pipelines.
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering focusing on API/GUI test automation.
• Limited manual testing may be required for exploratory validation.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Nice to have ISTQB Foundations and SAP BTP knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated API and GUI test suites for Sovereign Cloud environments.
• Deliver SAP multi-tenant applications with automated functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, security, and operations teams to solve Sovereign Cloud challenges.
• Own and continuously improve automated quality validation in CI/CD pipelines for releases and patches.
• Analyze results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and validate fixes via automated regression testing.
