Bosch Portugal, Aveiro site, is seeking a Project Manager to steer gas water heater initiatives in line with the EMEA strategy. You will lead product introductions from concept to market launch, coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to cost targets.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in hardware development projects, strong leadership, and fluency in Portuguese and English.

Qualificações

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in new developments projects.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in managing complex projects.
• Strong experience with Time-to-Market processes and product development life cycles.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects of final products to be sold to end-customers.
• Coordinate the work of a project team with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality.
• Ensure that solutions meet Bosch Home Comfort quality standards and integrate with the portfolio.
• Own the project lifecycle from concept to production ramp-up and market launch.
• Drive critical project decisions while ensuring timelines, target costs, and specs.
• Communicate progress and milestones to stakeholders at all levels.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

We are looking for a project manager to steer our gas water heater projects, in close alignment with our EMEA strategy of defending market position. Working together with R&D, purchasing, manufacturing and quality, you will lead the introduction of new products from product creation phase to successful market launch:

• Lead Projects of final products to be sold to end-customers.
• Coordinate the work of a project team in close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality departments.
• Ensure that the developed solutions meet Bosch Home Comfort's stringent quality standards and seamlessly integrate with the existing portfolio.
• Take full ownership of the project lifecycle- from initial concept and development to production ramp-up and market launch.
• Drive critical project decisions while ensuring strict adherence to timelines, target costs, and technical specifications.
• Communicate project progress and key milestones effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

• University degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical/management field.

Experience

• 5-10 years of professional experience in new developments projects.
• 3-5 years of proven professional experience in managing complex projects.
• Strong experience working within Time-to-Market (TTM) processes and managing product development life cycles.

Know how

• Deep understanding of project scheduling, target costing, and technical product validation.
• Skills in Project Management methodologies, including stakeholder management and risk management
• Good knowledge of supplier management and production procedures and Make & Buy strategies.
• Good knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel and Project.
• Know-how on Waterfall and Agile for Hardware development is a valuable advantage.

Languages

• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

• Quick grasp of complex new topics and a proactive mindset in resolving bottlenecks.
