Catawiki in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Product Manager to help revolutionize the shipping journey across our marketplace. You will own initiatives to turn shipping from a pain point into a competitive advantage, working across bidding, seller quality, and buyer experience.

Based in Lisbon with a hybrid setup (2 days in the office), you will join a team of product managers and help scale a global platform serving millions of customers.

What You Will Do

We are 10 Product Managers in the team at Catawiki, meaning every individual drives 10% of our platform’s evolution. If you possess the capability to carry 10% of the weight of Catawiki's product and have the drive to scale a world-class e-commerce brand - one that navigates the intricate challenges of a curated marketplace moving 150K+ objects weekly - we want you on board.

I’m Anirudh Kanga, Principal Product Manager here at Catawiki. Together, we hold the mandate to revolutionize the fulfillment and shipping journey. Currently, shipping is one of our primary NPS detractors, and we need your help to change that. Your mission is straightforward: do whatever it takes to flip shipping from a pain point into a competitive advantage. There are countless complexities to navigate, and that is precisely why we need you.

We Definitely Look For An Experienced Product Manager; And On Top Of That We Are Specifically Hunting For Three Core Characteristics

• Relentless. Shipping is not only an experience challenge, it will require change management internally and with our sellers. So we need someone who will be stubborn and self-motivated to drive impact for months.
• Extreme Ownership. I haven’t read the book yet, but I am sure it is all about thinking what oneself could do better and focused on actual impact whatever the hurdles. We don’t want to hear \"I’ve done my part, now it’s someone else’s problem\"
• System thinker. Shipping is not a feature, it influences everything from bidding to Sellers’ quality to the Buyer’s experience. We want someone who can handle many moving parts all of which impact a larger ecosystem.

The role is based in Lisbon and is hybrid, 2 mandatory days in the office.
