Hexa Consulting is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Porto to design and govern enterprise platform capabilities across AWS, CI/CD, and Kubernetes. You will drive standards, self-service capabilities, and secure, scalable platforms for multiple product teams.

The role focuses on observability, DevSecOps, and governance, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency while promoting productivity and engineering excellence.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong experience with AWS and GitLab in large-scale environments.
• Experience with version control, configuration management, software delivery and deployment automation.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with observability, reliability, incident management and operational excellence.
• Experience building or operating Internal Developer Platforms.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, vulnerability management, secrets management, policy-as-code and compliance automation.
• Experience with platform governance, DORA metrics and continuous improvement.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and promote enterprise-wide platform standards and best practices.
• Design and maintain CI/CD frameworks, reusable capabilities and reference architectures.
• Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform strategy, Golden Paths and self-service capabilities.
• Improve productivity, consistency, security and time-to-market across product teams.
• Maintain platform documentation, standards and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across development, test and production environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, security and architecture teams.
• Support architecture reviews for scalable, secure and resilient platforms.
• Monitor performance, reliability, capacity and cost efficiency.
• Automate manual tasks and improve platform operations.
• Lead platform adoption and support teams in applying standards.
• Use governance, DORA metrics and developer productivity insights to drive improvement.
