Merkle, a dentsu company, in Lisbon is seeking a senior PHP developer to join a global software team. You will participate in the full development cycle, design robust features, ensure code quality, and security, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements include 6+ years of PHP, OOP/SOLID, relational databases, and English. The role offers hybrid working, career development, and access to the Dentsu Academy, with a permanent contract and competitive compensation.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of PHP experience
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and SOLID
• Experience with relational databases and testing layers

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the full software development cycle, including requirements analysis, design and development, unit testing, and documentation
• Take responsibility for the long-term reusability and stability of code
• Proactively identify security, usability, and other issues, and formulate strategies to resolve them
• Work independently, without guidance, while maintaining a broader overview of the project
• Take ownership of delivering complex application features and resolving key technical issues
