IRIUM is seeking a Senior Ontologist to join an international project, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of ontologies that support Knowledge Graph, semantic enrichment, data integration, and knowledge management initiatives.

You will work remotely within the European Union, applying Semantic Web standards (RDF/RDFS, OWL, SKOS, SHACL), SPARQL, and JSON-LD, collaborating with global stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ontology design, development, and semantic technologies.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ontologies and taxonomies.
• Expert knowledge of Semantic Web and W3C standards: RDF / RDFS, OWL, SKOS, SHACL, SPARQL.
• Strong knowledge of Datalog or other inferencing rule languages.
• Experience with standard serialization formats, including Turtle (TTL) and JSON-LD.
• Experience analysing different data formats, including JSON and Excel, for semantic integration.
• Experience with ontology development tools metaphactory and RDFox.
• Strong experience with Git, including branching, merging, and reviewing ontology-related changes.
• Knowledge of ontology and taxonomy development best practices and methodologies.
• Ability to ensure semantic accuracy, consistency, and quality across ontology models.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• English proficiency – C1/C2.
