Metyis is seeking a mid-level IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Porto. You will maintain Linux server landscapes and manage Centreon-based monitoring to ensure high availability and performance across our Enterprise Linux environments.

You will design and implement deployment pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack, onboard new systems, and develop check scripts in Python and Bash. English fluency is required as we collaborate globally.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Deep Linux experience (networking, storage, systemd, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on with Centreon architecture and monitoring.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, SUSE Manager).
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD and network fundamentals.
• Degree in Computer Science or IT Systems Integration.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, operate and develop Linux server landscapes (SLES and Alma Linux).
• Administer Centreon monitoring environment and related components (MariaDB, Pollers, Nagios/Centreon Plugins, Centreon Engine, Reporting).
• Design and maintain configuration management and deployment pipelines (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack).
• Onboard new systems, develop check scripts (Python, Bash), and integrate APM, log and performance metrics.
• Analyze system faults, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization and hardening measures.
• Create system documentation, operational concepts, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
