KCS IT in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to manage and optimize server environments, automation, and production systems. You will support application teams, coordinate patching and data migrations, and troubleshoot incidents across physical and virtual infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have Linux administration expertise, experience with OpenShift/OpenStack, and strong scripting abilities. English fluency is required; ITIL processes knowledge is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Software Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of proven professional experience in Linux System Administration.
• Experience with Linux Server environments (RHEL 6 and 7).
• Scripting and automation experience (Shell, Ansible or Terraform).
• Application server administration (JBoss, Tomcat).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and cloud/virtualization platforms.
• Proficient in Linux server installation, tuning and troubleshooting.
• Run support for live production systems (physical and virtual).
• User and application team support within ITIL processes.
• Server patching, data migration and coordination of technical operations.
