Pertemps ERP (part of Network EMEA) is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer in Lisbon. The role focuses on owning backend services, building scalable microservices, and transforming a legacy monolith to a cloud-native architecture.

You will lead an Agile team, mentor developers, and partner with Architects to drive technical direction. The position is hybrid, with three days in the office.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend development experience required.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems is essential.
• Proficient in event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and system integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of backend services from concept through delivery.
• Design scalable, resilient microservices and distributed systems.
• Lead the transformation of a legacy monolith to a cloud-native architecture.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and asynchronous processing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to set technical direction.
• Lead an Agile team, mentoring developers and driving improvement.
• Set engineering standards and contribute to architectural practices.
• Produce clear technical documentation and communicate decisions clearly.
