HumanIT is seeking a Senior Java AI Enabled Engineer to join a cutting-edge project delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions. You’ll design AI-powered backend services, autonomous agents, and LLM integrations in a fully remote Portugal setting.

You will work with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and LangChain4j, building scalable microservices with a focus on reliability, security, and observability in an Agile environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in backend Java (Java 17/21) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Agentic AI and LangChain4j for AI orchestration.
• Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications.
• RESTful API development experience.
• Strong skills in prompt engineering and lifecycle management.
• Observability, guardrails, rate limiting, and secure integrations.
• English proficiency at level B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable microservices and AI-enabled backend services.
• Architect autonomous AI agents with multi-step reasoning and memory management.
• Integrate LLMs and AI tools through robust REST APIs.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, data teams in Agile teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and observability across AI systems.
