Thales in Paço de Arcos, Portugal is looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join its Airspace Mobility Solutions team. The role involves designing infrastructure engineering diagrams and implementing complex system designs. The position requires excellent collaboration skills and the ability to provide technical support within the team. Availability for business travel is also necessary.

Qualificações

Senior Integration Engineer - Airspace Mobility Solutions team

Responsibilities

• Design and create infrastructure engineering diagrams and definitions
• Analyze, develop and implement complex system designs, architecture specifications and data models
• Collaborate with project management and Design Authorities to ensure project deployment
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Implement, troubleshoot and monitor installed systems and infrastructure
• Align network infrastructure to meet project requirements
• Assure configuration control baselines in projects
• Provide technical support and resolve inquiries from end-users and internal engineering teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on similar roles
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields
• Solid experience with Linux systems (RHCSA, RHCE) or equivalent hands‑on Linux administration experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Bash) for automation and integration
• Networking certification such as CCNA (or equivalent knowledge of TCP/IP)
• Very good written and oral proficiency in English
• Availability for business travelling
