Cross Border Talents seeks an experienced Senior Insurance Accountant to join its international finance team in Porto, Portugal, a full-time hybrid role.

You will analyse accounts, support quarterly closes under local GAAP and IFRS, and collaborate with reporting, IT, actuarial services and other departments to ensure accurate financial data and strong internal controls.

Fluency in English is essential; French is a strong plus as part of our multinational environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in a comparable accounting or finance position.
• Advanced English, minimum C1 level, is mandatory.
• Fluency in French is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of insurance accounting and consolidation.
• Experience with IFRS standards, ideally IFRS 17 and IFRS 9.
• Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or CODA.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Eligibility to work in Portugal.

Working Schedule and Model

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual gross salary: €25,000
