Philip Morris International is seeking a Platform Engineer to join the data platform team and help optimize its data infrastructure across hybrid Poland and remote Portugal environments.
The role requires deep backend expertise, cloud experience (AWS), and strong collaboration with data and software teams to improve observability, data quality, and governance while advancing automation and scalability.
Location: Kraków. Poland or Lisbon, Portugal
Working Pattern: Poland: Hybrid, 8 days on-site per month Portugal: Remote work

We have built the data platform over the last few years to enable PMI’s data and analytics driven transformation journey. The data platform consists of state-of-the-art architecture and technologies e.g. database, data lake, data ingestion, ELT, Cloud, data orchestration, data management, business intelligence, advanced analytics etc. Our team is responsible for building, evolving and operating the data platform for various PMI teams who build data products & applications on top of it.
We are looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us optimize and evolve our data infrastructure and streamline our operations.
The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic self-starter with deep expertise in complex backend structures capable of working with different integrated systems.
