Consort Group in Lisbon is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and operate production-grade AI agents for a major European financial services environment.

You will work at the intersection of AI engineering, software development and business processes, shaping agent workflows, tooling and observability while collaborating with analysts and engineers.

The role is hybrid (50%), with a permanent contract and a gross salary range from 43 K€ to 53 K€ per year.

Qualificações

• 6 years of Python software engineering experience.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience developing LLM/Generative AI applications.
• Experience with agent architectures, APIs and cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for deployment.
• Testing with pytest and deterministic test design.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and improve AI agents using Python, LangGraph, LangChain, and similar frameworks.
• Develop agent workflows, including tool calling and memory management.
• Integrate with REST/gRPC APIs and business applications.
• Version prompts and configurations with traceable releases.
• Monitor agent performance, latency, and token usage.
