Jobtailor in Portugal is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular in cloud-native environments. You will own components across backend and frontend, and work on Google Cloud Platform with Docker, Kubernetes, Open Policy Agent, and GitLab CI/CD.

You will collaborate with product, design, security and fellow engineers, participate in code reviews, and apply new technologies to evolve the platform, processes

Qualificações

• Proven experience developing scalable and secure systems using Java (Spring Boot).
• Good understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
• Commitment to writing clean, well-tested code.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable front-end and back-end web applications.
• Build applications with Spring Boot and Angular in a cloud-native environment.
• Take full ownership of case management and orchestration systems.
• Address security, scalability, and reliability challenges.
• Collaborate with product, designers, security, and fellow engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Apply new technologies and ideas to evolve the platform, processes, and engineering culture.
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform using Docker, Kubernetes, Open Policy Agent, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Work with Postgres and Firestore data stores.
• Maintain system reliability using StackDriver, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
