AgileEngine in Portugal is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build user-facing features in React and maintain robust Node.js services for an international product team. You will architect and implement full-stack solutions with expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript, optimize performance, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready features.

The role requires strong state management, secure data handling, and expertise in automated testing with Jest and React

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional web application development experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Broad knowledge of web platforms, browser APIs, state management using Redux or Context, and styling strategies.
• Experience with automated unit testing and test-driven development using Jest, React Testing Library, and Mocha/Chai.

You will architect and implement full-stack solutions with expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript, optimize performance across web platforms, implement automated testing with Jest and React Testing Library, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready features. The role requires strong state management experience and a thorough understanding of component-driven design patterns and secure data handling.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop user-facing features using modern React workflows while building and maintaining robust Node.js backend services;
• Architect and implement full-stack solutions, ensuring seamless integration between the front-end UI and back-end APIs;
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of professional web application development experience;
• Expert-level knowledge of Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Broad knowledge of web platforms, browser APIs, state management using Redux or Context, and styling strategies;
• Superior analytical and problem-solving ability;
• Experience with automated unit testing and test-driven development using Jest, React Testing Library, and Mocha/Chai;
• Robust understanding of performance issues, computational complexity, and full-stack code optimization;
• Familiarity with industry-standard algorithms, component-driven design patterns, and secure data handling;
• Effective communication skills to work with different teams across an international company;
• Upper-intermediate English level.
