Jobtailor in Porto is seeking a frontend engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design and deliver user-focused web applications using React and Angular.

You will implement automated unit and integration tests, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and help shape architectures for scalable systems. Strong communication and a collaborative mindset in an agile Scrum team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with a tightly knit engineering organization to design, deliver, and improve technical solutions that delight our customers.
• Develop and implement automated unit and integration tests to validate software functionality, performance, and robustness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in front‑end development.
• Use Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices during the development process, ensuring frequent and reliable software releases.
• Influencing, implementing and discussing new designs, architectures, standards and best practices for large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years’ experience working with front‑end applications and frameworks, including React and Angular.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• An understanding of modern web application programming principles (e.g. favouring composition over inheritance), design patterns and architecture concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
• Experience writing unit and end‑to‑end tests to ensure quality.
• Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in agile software development methodologies (we use Scrum).
