Cronos Europa Portugal is seeking two Senior Databricks Engineers to design, build, and operate scalable data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will own data pipelines end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, in an international team.

The role requires 6+ years in data engineering, strong PySpark/ Spark SQL skills, Delta Lake expertise, and fluent English. Hybrid work with 3x weekly office presence in Lisbon is offered.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on Databricks in production environments with Delta Lake.
• Strong Python, SQL and Spark stack expertise.
• Fluent English, excellent communication in international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Develop high-quality solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python.
• Design and optimize Delta Lake tables with partitioning and performance tuning.
• Implement layered data architectures (Raw, Cleansed, Curated).
• Manage workflows with Databricks Jobs/Workflows and Delta Live Tables.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and produce technical documentation.
