Act Digital in Porto is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using PowerCenter or similar tools. You will develop and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures and queries, and design enterprise Data Warehouse solutions to ensure data quality and integrity.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or similar role.
• Strong experience with PowerCenter (or Talend, ODI, or equivalent ETL tools).
• Excellent knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and relational/dimensional data modeling.
• Experience designing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using PowerCenter or similar ETL tools.
• Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, and queries.
• Design and evolve enterprise Data Warehouse solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize existing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data integration issues and improve platform performance.
• Apply best practices in Data Governance, security, and data quality.
• Contribute to reporting and dashboard development using Power BI (nice to have).
• Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.
