Consort Group, based in Lisbon or Porto, seeks a Senior Data Consultant to turn business needs into scalable data solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across business, data, analytics, and technology to drive innovation and efficiency.

You will design data analyses and pipelines using SQL, Python, and ETL tools, manage roadmaps, and present insights to senior leaders. The role blends strategic advisory with hands-on delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

You have at least 5 years of experience in data consulting, data analysis, business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
You work at the intersection of business, data, analytics, and technology and translate needs into practical solutions.
You are analytical, rigorous, and organized, with excellent communication for stakeholder levels.
Experience in banking or financial services is highly valued.

Senior Data Consultant

As a Senior Data Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to business and project stakeholders, helping identify opportunities, translate operational and strategic needs into clear requirements, and design scalable data solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

Identify business use cases and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand operational and strategic needs.
Act as a trusted advisor, facilitating collaboration and communication across business, technical, and project teams.
Translate business needs into clear requirements, deliverables, and realistic project roadmaps.
Design and deliver data analyses, from ad-hoc investigations to complete data pipelines.
Leverage SQL, Python and ETL tools to support data analysis and solution delivery.
Contribute to the development of a strong data-driven culture across the organization.
Track project progress, deliverables, risks, and dependencies using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Present complex data and project topics in a clear and structured way to senior stakeholders.
Contribute to scalable solutions aligned with governance, quality, and organizational standards.

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in data consulting, data analysis, business analysis, project management, or a similar role within a demanding corporate environment.

You are comfortable working at the intersection of business, data, analytics, and technology. You know how to understand complex business challenges, structure requirements, and transform them into practical and scalable solutions.

You are analytical, rigorous, and organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at different levels of an organization.

Experience in banking or financial services, particularly in environments where corporate governance and data-related practices are important, will be highly valued.

This Is Your Expertise

Data & Analytics: Experience working with data analysis, analytics, and/or AI-related initiatives.
Data Solutions: Ability to design and deliver ad-hoc analyses or complete data pipelines.
SQL & Python: Strong practical knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data analysis and manipulation.
ETL: Experience with ETL tools and data processing workflows.
Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Business Analysis: Ability to identify use cases, gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Governance: Understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
Microsoft Office: Full proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Communication: Ability to synthesize and simplify complex concepts for senior audiences.
