InnoWave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Portugal to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using C#/.NET 8+ with Go or Python as the stack diversifies. You will containerize services and deploy with Kubernetes, while evaluating self-hosted AWS options and contributing to AI tool integrations.

You will design relational schemas in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, assist with PostgreSQL operations, and support production systems with debugging and reliability work,

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Senior-level experience building backend services and APIs used by real users.
• Deep proficiency in C#/.NET 8+.
• Ability to learn Go or Python as the stack diversifies.
• Experience running services on Linux with logs and metrics.
• Strong SQL and relational data modeling in PostgreSQL.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Practical AWS experience and awareness of vendor lock-in.
• Familiar with AI coding tools and tool integrations.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, and adaptable to a hybrid model.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Develop orchestration flows across APIs, queues, services, and data sources.
• Containerize services and deploy via Kubernetes and IaC.
• Evaluate self-hostable alternatives to managed AWS services.
• Design relational schemas and queries in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Migrate and operate PostgreSQL databases and related tasks.
• Implement AI use cases and tool integrations, including MCP workflows.
• Support production systems with debugging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams and QA.
