ITDS is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer in Porto with a hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote). You will lead the application security program for a leading international financial institution, mentoring teams and shaping security frameworks across regions.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity or DevSecOps, strong Python/C++/C# skills, and deep OWASP knowledge. English and Portuguese fluency are expected, with cloud security expertise across environments.

Qualificações

Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity, application security, or DevSecOps experience.
Leadership experience in security projects and mentoring teams.
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or C#, with exposure to modern frameworks.

Responsabilidades

Develop and execute the application security strategy and roadmap.
Mentor junior AppSec engineers and lead security initiatives.
Lead vulnerability analysis, remediation, and security assessments within development squads.
Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps workflows.
Conduct workshops and produce security documentation to raise awareness.
Monitor security KPIs and drive innovation through threat research and PoC projects.
Lead security training sessions and promote a security-first mindset.
