Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon is seeking a senior data engineer to develop, operate and maintain automated ETL pipelines and data products for digital procurement processes and AI initiatives.

You will transform customer requirements into data models, ensure data integrity and support analytics with BI tools in a hybrid work environment across international teams.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data engineering, ETL processes and data warehouses/lakehouses.
• Strong SQL proficiency; Python is a plus.
• Experience with dbt, Databricks and Power BI/Tableau.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, operate, and maintain automated, scalable ETL pipelines and data products to digitalize procurement processes and support AI initiatives.
• Translate customer requirements into data transformations and models for reporting and decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity, security and quality by collaborating with data producers and consumers.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and document and scale data solutions.
• Collaborate within an international team balancing project management, customers and IT frameworks.

Job Description

• Develop, operate, and maintain automated, scalable ETL pipelines and data products to digitalize procurement processes and support AI initiatives.
• Translate customer requirements into data transformations and models that facilitate reporting decision-making.
• Ensure and continuously improve data integrity, security and quality by collaborating closely with data producers and consumers.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and be responsible for documenting and scaling data solutions.
• Collaborate within an international team, effectively balancing the interests of project management, customers and IT frameworks.
• Foster and demonstrate a service-oriented, data-driven mindset in your work environment.

Qualifications

What Distinguishes You:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data engineering, ETL processes and data warehouses/lakehouses, with proficiency in SQL; Python is a plus.
• Experience with tools along the data stack such as dbt, Databricks and Power BI/Tableau.
• Proven expertise in DevOps principles, focusing on the stability, reliability and monitoring of automated data pipelines (data testing, CI/CD, KPI definition and tracking, …).
• Practical knowledge of agile software development, alongside strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• You're up to date with the lates advancements in (agentic) GenAI and how to apply them to real world challenges.
• Ability to design and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication skills in English, resilience, and a strong analytical and conceptual mindset
