Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to join a growing, international team in a hybrid Porto setting. The role focuses on monitoring security events, collaborating across teams, and strengthening our clients' defenses in a fast-moving market.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SOC or equivalent training, hands-on experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty), solid networking knowledge, and excellent English

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience in SOC or equivalent training.
• Experience with security monitoring tools (DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty).
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and TCP/IP, DNS/NTP, OSPF/BGP, MPLS.
• Fluent English and ability to communicate security topics clearly.

Role: Security Operations Center Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Porto, Portugal

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience
• Experience working on Security Operations Center(SOC) or equivalent technical training in the area
• Knowledge of security monitoring tools(ex: DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty, etc)
• Knowledge and experience of network infrastructures such as LAN and WAN network technologies
• Knowledge in the following network technologies TCP/IP, DNS/NTP, Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP), MPLS
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Willingness and ability to learn new products and network/security technologies quickly, often without the focus of formalized training;
• Be able to communicate about networking/security issues effectively and in a comprehensible manner both externally and internally;
• Fluency in English.
