Ascendum, a Portuguese multinational, is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to drive the evolution and integration of its SAP ecosystem across Finance, Sales and Logistics. You will lead projects, coordinate internal teams and external partners, and push process transformation in a highly collaborative international environment.

The role focuses on promoting scalable SAP solutions, aligning technology with business needs, and delivering continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SAP implementation, configuration and support.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI, CO, SD, MM and CS and integration between modules.
• Experience in technology project management, coordination of internal stakeholders and management of external suppliers.
• Strong functional analysis, process design and optimisation skills with automation opportunities.
• Experience in multicultural and international environments; fluent English required.

Your Mission

We are looking for an SAP Project Manager to drive the evolution of Ascendum’s SAP ecosystem, aligning technology solutions with business needs and leading projects that enhance operational efficiency across the Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the evolution, optimisation and integration of the Group’s SAP ecosystem, aligning technology strategy with business needs. The role will focus on promoting integrated, efficient and scalable solutions, driving continuous improvement and process transformation, while leading SAP projects and coordinating the different stakeholders and external partners involved.

What You'll Do

• Manage, configure and optimise SAP modules supporting the Finance, Sales and Logistics areas;
• Ensure the efficient integration of the different SAP modules with the other applications within the technology ecosystem;
• Work closely with business areas to identify requirements and design functional solutions;
• Identify opportunities for automation, continuous improvement and operational efficiency through SAP functionalities;
• Coordinate second-level support and the resolution of complex technical and functional incidents;
• Manage SAP projects, ensuring planning, coordination of internal stakeholders and management of external suppliers;
• Support functional testing, solution validation and the preparation of technical and functional documentation;
• Act as a strategic partner to management in the evolution and support of the Group’s CORE applications.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Systems or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SAP implementation, configuration and support;
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI, CO, SD, MM and CS, including integration between modules and with other systems; knowledge of ABAP debugging will be considered an advantage;
• Experience in technology project management, coordination of internal stakeholders and management of external suppliers;
• Strong functional analysis, process design and optimisation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Experience in multicultural and international environments will be considered an advantage;
• Fluency in English is essential.
