Conextivity is looking for an SAP MM/SD Consultant based in Amarante, Portugal. You will analyze business processes, lead ERP implementations, and provide ongoing training and support. The ideal candidate has a degree in Management Informatics or related fields, at least 3 years of consulting experience, and fluent English. Position: SAP MM/SD Consultant

Location: Amarante, Portugal (near Oporto)

Mission

Analyzes business processes and defines the company’s needs, establishes parameters and leads ERP implementation projects or projects involving functionalities related to these modules in Group companies. It chooses the standard functionalities to be implemented and, if necessary, designs and develops other tailor‑made functionalities. It also provides ongoing training and day‑to‑day support for users.

Responsibilities

• Application maintenance and development:
  • Joint responsibility for the management, maintenance and operation of SAP functional modules.
  • Analysis of processes and technical and functional requirements and implementation of SAP solutions and functionalities, according to business needs.
  • Occasional support for users in the PP, WM and HR modules.
  • Knowledge of integration/interaction between SAP modules.
  • Creating, updating and structuring SAP technical documentation and development techniques.
  • Management of complementary applications: e.g., LSMW, Innowera, etc.
  • Managing licenses, users and authorizations.
  • Creation of complex queries based on sets of information.
  • Creation of reports (Report Writer / Report Painter).
  • Managing certain SAP basic functionalities: implementation of OSS notes, customer copies, etc.
  • Creating and updating forms in SAP (SAPScript, SmartForms).
• Supporting ERP users:
  • Handling and resolving incidents for the group.
  • User training.
  • Preparation of support/training manuals.
• Project management:
  • Leading projects to implement the ERP and its functionalities.
  • Proposing and carrying out continuous improvement projects linked to ERP processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Management Informatics, Computer Science or Industrial Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an SAP SD-MM Consultant.
• Experience in implementation projects, at all stages of the process.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA (plus).
• Mastery of SAP configuration.
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel.
• Analysis and problem solving.
• Planning and organization.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
