Jobgether is seeking a senior Platform Architect in a fully remote, international role based in Portugal to design scalable cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. You will drive automation with Terraform/Ansible, architect containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, and mentor engineers while guiding clients through architecture and delivery.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on AWS and Azure with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong Linux fundamentals and networking knowledge (DNS, VPNs, TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
• Programming experience to contribute to automation workflows.
• Proven ability to manage projects in distributed, remote settings.
• Excellent time management and communication skills in a remote, global team.
• Pre-sales engineering or client-facing experience is a plus, with business awareness.
• C1-level English proficiency; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience collaborating across Europe and US time zones; certifications or data engineering background is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and evolve scalable cloud platforms across AWS and Azure.
• Develop infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Architect containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes; provide guidance.
• Advise clients on cloud architecture, strategy, and implementation approaches.
• Lead small technical teams and mentor engineers to support professional development.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and sales to shape technical solutions.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping and proposals.
• Apply Agile/Scrum practices to coordinate delivery across distributed teams.
• Own platform architecture from discovery to delivery guidance.
• Manage multiple priorities with clear communication across time zones.
