EDP is seeking a Quality Engineer - Electrical Equipment to join our team. The role involves participating in quality control activities for electrical equipment from design to commissioning, developing specifications and testing procedures, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.

The position is full-time, hybrid work site, requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, strong English, willingness to travel nationally and internationally, and a valid driving license.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in quality control activities related to electrical equipment from design through commissioning.
• Develop and review technical specifications and testing procedures for electrical equipment and materials.
• Analyze qualification processes for electrical materials and equipment to ensure compliance with standards.
• Participate in equipment acceptance and FAT tests to ensure technical and quality criteria are met.
• Carry out technical inspections of manufacturers and suppliers for compliance with specs and quality requirements.
• Monitor quality control throughout equipment integration stages and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance of electrical equipment.
• Support continuous improvement of quality control processes and testing procedures.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer - Electrical Equipment to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in all quality control activities related to equipment to be integrated into the electricity network, from the design stage through to commissioning.
• Develop and review technical specifications and testing procedures for electrical equipment and materials.
• Analyse technical qualification processes for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with the applicable technical requirements and standards.
• Participate in equipment acceptance and factory validation tests (FAT), ensuring that the required technical and quality criteria are met.
• Carry out technical inspections of manufacturers and suppliers, assessing compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
• Follow up on the quality control process throughout the different stages of equipment integration, ensuring the identification and resolution of any technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturers and suppliers, to ensure the quality and technical compliance of electrical equipment.
• Support the continuous improvement of quality control processes, testing procedures and technical requirements related to electrical equipment.
