Lufthansa Technik Portugal S.A. is establishing a new MRO facility near Porto, Portugal, seeking a Quality Engineer – Audit Management.

You will conduct internal and external audits, drive corrective actions, and ensure regulatory compliance across departments while overseeing supplier oversight and the Company FOD program. We require an engineering degree with 3+ years in quality/audit roles, strong root-cause analysis, and English proficiency.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of professional quality/audit experience.
• Engineering degree (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical) or equivalent.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and auditing methods.
• Familiarity with EASA Part 145 and ISO 9100/9110.
• Ability to work in a team and manage complex work processes.
• Willingness to travel abroad for short/mid-term duty travel.
• Resilience to stress and high workload; conflict management skills.

• Monitor audit findings and responses to internal/external audits.
• Provide status reports for management reviews.
• Prepare, issue, and deliver training materials and sessions.
• Manage supplier and contractor oversight.
• Supervise the Company FOD Program.
• Investigate root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review regulations and propose implementation guidance.
• Oversee aviation authority approvals and support internal queries.
• Monitor the Company’s cost of non-quality.
• Use IT tools (q/star, q/scan, ProX) and MS Office for related tasks.

Tasks

As a Quality Engineer in Audit Management, you perform internal and external audits, identify root causes, drive corrective actions, support process compliance across departments, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

We are seeking a Quality Engineer – Audit Management, to conduct internal/external audits, ensure compliance. You’ll collaborate across teams, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical) or equivalent experience with required professional background
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Proven knowledge about root cause analysis and methodes
• Proven Auditing experiance
• Proven knowledge about EASA Part 145 and/or ISO 9100/9110
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to structure, schedule and plan complex work processes/issues
• Willingness to work abroad on short or midterm duty travel
• Resilience to stress and high workload, conflict management skills
