Founded in 2008, KCS IT is a Lisbon-based IT services company delivering diverse projects. We are seeking a Senior/Lead QA Engineer to design, implement and maintain automated tests and frameworks, ensuring robust test strategies across multiple client projects.

You will work across testing types, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues while maintaining clear documentation in Confluence. Strong English and proactive ownership are essential.

Qualificações

• Solid professional experience as a QA Engineer / Senior Tester, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Strong experience designing, implementing and maintaining automated tests and automation frameworks.
• Experience defining and improving test strategies, processes and best practices.
• Ability to work across different types of testing and identify the most appropriate approach for each scenario.
• Experience working with automation tools and technologies such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
• Experience with API testing and automated testing of different application layers.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Experience with Git and test management/defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar.
• Ability to analyse test results, identify issues and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
• Good documentation skills, including experience using Confluence.
• Strong communication skills and good English.
• Proactive, autonomous and quality-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.

We are looking for an Amazing: QA Engineer (QAE)

The amazing you, will have:

To turn yourself from amazing to unique, you´ll have (plus):

• Experience in a QA Lead / Test Lead position.
• Experience defining automation strategies and frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with performance testing or other specialised testing areas.
• Experience with BDD and tools such as Cucumber.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, JMeter, k6 or similar.

Note: Manual-only testing profiles will not be considered.
