The role ensures compliance with corporate quality standards, client obligations, regulatory requirements and industry best practices, acting as the global reference for quality management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Quality Management certification is desirable (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, CQE or equivalent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control/O&M/Asset Management or Operational Excellence.
• Experience in renewable energy sectors (Solar PV, BESS, Wind) and international programs.

The QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for establishing, implementing and continuously improving the Quality Assurance and Quality Control framework for all Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities across the company's global renewable energy portfolio.

The role ensures that all O&M projects, operational sites and regional teams comply with corporate quality standards, client contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The position serves as the global reference for quality management, supporting operational excellence, asset reliability, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across all technologies and regions.

• Develop, implement and maintain O&M Quality Management Plans, procedures, work instructions and quality standards applicable across the region.
• Elaborate the ITP's procedures and checklists used to inspect the quality of the work executed to ensure meeting client requirements (ITP - Inspect and Test Plan).
• Ensure compliance with corporate Quality Management Systems, contractual obligations and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the fulfilment of the Quality Protocols when carrying out the activities complying with the defined in the Inspection and Testing Plan.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and quality awareness throughout O&M operations.
• Standardize quality practices and reporting methodologies across all managed assets.
• Ability to follow and track several projects regarding Quality management implementation status up to date and planning resources needed to accomplish the milestones.
• Perform quality visits to ensure good care of quality records such as inspection records, photo reports, RFI, test reports, certificates, etc, in compliance with standards and client's requirements.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of quality processes across multiple operational projects and sites.
• Verify that preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities are executed according to approved procedures and contractual requirements.
• Conduct regular quality audits, inspections and operational assessments to evaluate compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support site teams in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, inspections and operational reviews.
• Analyse operational and maintenance quality indicators to support asset performance improvement.
• Identify quality-related risks that could impact plant availability, reliability, production performance or contractual KPIs.
• Collaborate with O&M Managers, Performance Engineers and Technical Teams to identify root causes of recurring failures and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing equipment failures, rework and maintenance inefficiencies.
• Coordinate the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, deviations and customer complaints.
• Monitor corrective and preventive action plans to ensure timely and effective closure.
• Perform trend analysis to identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain lessons learned databases and facilitate knowledge sharing between projects.
• Ensure proper control, maintenance and traceability of operational records, maintenance reports, inspection results, test reports and performance documentation.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of quality records and customer deliverables.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting related to quality performance and compliance.
• Ensure proper management of technical documentation within asset management and document control systems.
• Develop and deliver quality-related training programs for O&M personnel.
• Support competency development initiatives focused on quality standards, maintenance practices and operational excellence.
• Promote best practices and lessons learned across the regional organization.
• Act as the regional focal point for quality-related matters with clients and external stakeholders.
• Anticipate according to schedule the quality management plans framework and client requirement of oncoming projects.
• Participate in customer audits, quality reviews and performance meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Quality Management certification is desirable (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, CQE or equivalent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Operations and Maintenance, Asset Management or Operational Excellence.
• Proven experience in renewable energy sectors such as Solar PV, BESS, Wind or related power generation industries.
• Demonstrated experience managing quality systems across multiple countries and international organizations.
• Previous experience leading global or regional quality programs related to O&M activities is highly valued.
• Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of O&M processes and asset lifecycle management.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS, ERP and Asset Management platforms.
• Valid Driving Licence (Category B) and willingness to travel regularly to operational sites across Spain.
